Body to Body (Site Specific), 2016

Performance was produced within  the Downtown contemporary art festival D-Caf, in Cairo, Egypt.

"We have stopped questioning why we are doing what we are doing. Rituals, traditions, and customs -
we follow them without thinking."

The performance was a collaborative work involving different artists, dancers, and performers attending
D-Caf.
The performance reflects upon the topic of growing up, identity and desires. What are the desires that created our dreams? What are the consequences of the adulthood and it's compromising? Will the naivety of  the imagination save our corrupted realities? Or will we all concise with our own vanity?

The performance confronts and reflects adulthood and social conditioning through playful interactive actions that show the unavoidable truth of growing with the world and the other.
